Coffee is often consumed alongside (or instead of) breakfast by many at home. It is often served at the end of a meal, normally with a dessert, and at times with an after-dinner mint especially when consumed at a restaurant or dinner party.

Hot Coffee • Coffee beans must be ground & brewed to create a beverage. The criteria for choosing a method include flavor & economy. Almost all methods of preparing coffee require the beans to be ground & mixed with hot water long enough to extract the flavor, but without overextraction that draws out unnecessary bitter compounds. The spent grounds are removed & the liquid is consumed.
Cappuccino • A coffee drink topped with micro-foamed milk. It is made in a steam-producing espresso machine. Espresso is poured into the bottom third of the cup, & is followed by a similar amount of hot milk. Iced Coffee • Once brewed, coffee may be presented in a variety of ways. Drip-brewed, percolated, or French-pressed/cafetière coffee may be served with a dairy product such as milk or cream, or dairy substitute (colloquially known as white coffee), or not (black coffee). It may be sweetened with sugar or artificial sweetener. When served cold, it is called iced coffee.
Spirited Coffee • Alcohol that is added to coffee is considered a spirited coffee. Alcoholic beverages are often an important part of social events in these cultures. In many cultures, drinking plays a significant role in social interaction — mainly because of alcohol’s neurological effects.
Latte • A latte (from the Italian caffè latte or caffellatte pronounced [ˌkaffelˈlatte], meaning "coffee [and] milk") is a coffee drink made with espresso and steamed milk. Variants include replacing the coffee with another drink base such as chai, mate or matcha. The word is also sometimes incorrectly spelled latté or lattè—the diacritical mark being added as a hyperforeignism.

Café bombón • The condensed milk is added to the espresso. For visual effect, a glass is used, & the condensed milk is added slowly to sink underneath the coffee & create two separate bands of contrasting color – though these layers are customarily stirred together before consumption. Some establish-ments merely serve an espresso with a sachet of condensed milk for patrons to make themselves.

Café au lait • A French coffee drink. In Europe, "café au lait" stems from the same continental tradition as "caffè Latte" in Italy, "café con leche" in Spain, "kawa biała" ("white coffee") in Poland. In northern Europe, café au lait is the name most often used in coffee shops. It is a coffee beverage consisting strong or bold coffee (sometimes espresso) mixed with scalded milk in approximately a 1:1 ratio.
Cortado • (from the Spanish cortar, known as "Tallat" in Catalan and "Ebaki" in Basque, "Pingo" or "Garoto" in Portugal and "noisette" in France) is an espresso "cut" with a small amount of warm milk to reduce the acidity. The ratio of milk to coffee is between 1:1 - 1:2, & the milk is added after the espresso. The steamed milk hasn't much foam, but many baristas make some micro foam to make latte art.
Eiskaffee / Ice Cream Coffee • Eiskaffee, literally "ice cream coffee", is a popular German drink consisting of chilled coffee, milk, sweetener, vanilla ice cream, and sometimes whipped cream. Iced coffee has cooled off in Germany, brewed coffee (usually an extended coffee ) with milk and sweeteners (mostly sugar ) and some ice cream ( vanilla flavor ) and / or whipped cream. usually in a tall, slender glass or cup with a straw . • •
Espresso con panna • Espresso con panna, which means "espresso with cream" in Italian, is a single or double shot of espresso topped with whipped cream. In the US it may also be called café Vienne and in the UK café Viennois. An espresso con panna is properly called a Franziskaner, but ordering a Wiener Melange will often yield the arrival of this drink even in Vienna.

Gingerbread Latte • Starbucks sales them, the local coffee shop in the mall sales them- And my kitchen at home has them too! Oh yes, Gingerbread Latte is a favorite coffee drink for many people. It's a drink that reminds me of the fall season, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas all rolled up in one.
Café Mocha • A café mocha is a variant of a caffè latte. Like a latte, it is typically one third espresso and two thirds steamed milk, but a portion of chocolate is added, typically in the form of sweet cocoa powder, although many varieties use chocolate syrup. Mochas can contain dark or milk chocolate. In the U.S. it usually refers to a cappuccino made with chocolate.

Affogato • An affogato (Italian, "drowned") is a coffee-based beverage or dessert. It usually takes the form of a scoop of vanilla gelato or ice cream topped with a shot of hot espresso. Some variations also include a shot of Amaretto or other liqueur.[
